Philip Schade
Managing Director
Philip Schade established CDI - Career Development International as Managing Director. A German native, Philip graduated from the Hotel Management School Lausanne in 1985 with a B.S. in Hotel Management and also attended various courses at Cornell University, Ithaca, N.Y., USA. After completion of a one-year Management Training assignment with Hilton International at Hilton Hotels in Duesseldorf, Mainz and Munich, Philip served at the Hilton International Sales Office in Frankfurt.

Between 1989 and 1996 Philip was heading Sales & Marketing operations at prestigious hotels in Europe such as the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski in Munich and the Ciragan Palace Kempinski Istanbul, where he was chosen to participate temporarily in the pre-opening of the Kempinski Airport Munich.

While in Asia, Philip gained extensive experience in management operations at the 700 rooms Seoul Hilton in Korea with the last position held as Executive Assistant Manager before entering the field of Executive Recruitment and ultimately establishing CDI.

Besides being a member of Rotary International, SKAL and HSMA Philip also heads as "Stammvater" the alumni section of former students from the Hotel Management School Lausanne in Turkey and is fluent in English, German and French.

Simru Önhon
Director of Recruitment
As of May 2013, Simru Önhon, a Public Relations Specialist with an hotel background, joined CDI - Career Development International in the capacity as Director of Recruitment. Having first attended Bosphorus University, Istanbul, Simru graduated from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. Simru later attended Cavendish College, London, UK, where she completed a Public Relations and Marketing Degree.

After working for the Turkish Information and Tourism Office in London, UK and United Nations HABITAT II Project Coordination Unit, İstanbul, as the Press Relations Manager, Simru gained professional experience in the Hotel Industry as Public Relations Manager in Swissotel The Bosphorus, Istanbul and The Istanbul EDITION. With an international background, she has lived abroad in different parts of the world including countries as Finland, Egypt, United Kingdom, Mauritius, Germany and Singapore.

Simru, who is fluent in Turkish and English with basic knowledge of German is mainly concentrated on local operating hotel companies in Turkey and high profiled national and international candidates.
